• Oct 9, 2017 - Murphy precinct 144 residents, Barbara Harless and Maggie Whitt, deliver 550 pocket-size US Constitution to Collin Sheriff Jim Skinner, for all his employees to carry, donated by the Dallas County Support Your Local Police Committee,   The Dallas County Support Your Local Police Committee (SYLP) includes residents and peace officers in Collin County.  SYLP is a national program educating others on the importance of keeping police independent and accountable to local communities, resisting conversion to a national police force.
