WHO / WHAT's on my ballot?

SAMPLE BALLOTS COMNG SOON

The Texas Republican Party wants your opinion...

The following are 13 propositions for which the state GOP is seeking input via Republican primary voters.  For each prop, you will vote YES or NO (in favor or against).  TEXIT (a group wishing for Texas to disassociate from the United States) was not able to place its prop on this ballot due to failed signature verifications and not following election law (TX Supreme Court denied their petition).

Prop 1 Texas should eliminate all property taxes without increasing Texans’ overall tax burden.

Prop 2 Texas should create a Border Protection Unit, and deploy additional state law enforcement and military forces, to seal the border, to use physical force to prevent illegal entry and trafficking, and to deport illegal aliens to Mexico or their nations of origin.

Prop 3 The Texas Legislature should require the use of E-Verify by all employers in Texas to protect jobs for legal workers by preventing the hiring of illegal aliens.

Prop 4 The Texas Legislature should end all subsidies and public services, including in-state college tuition and enrollment in public schools, for illegal aliens.

Prop 5 Texas urges the United States Congress not to grant any form of amnesty or a pathway to legalization for illegal aliens.

Prop 6 Texas Legislature should prohibit the deployment of the Texas National Guard to a foreign conflict unless Congress first formally declares war.

Prop 7 The Texas Legislature should establish authority within the Texas State Comptroller’s office to administer access to gold and silver through the Texas bullion Depository for use as legal tender.

Prop 8 The State of Texas should ensure that Texans are free to give or to withhold consent for any vaccine without coercion.

Prop 9 The Republican Party of Texas should restrict voting in the Republican primary to only registered Republicans.

Prop 10 The Texas Constitution should be amended to restore authority to the Texas Attorney General to prosecute election crimes.

Prop 11 Texas Parents and guardians should have the right to select schools, whether public or private, for their children, and the funding should follow the student.

Prop 12 The Texas Constitution should be amended to require proof of citizenship before any individual can be registered to vote.

Prop 13 Texas should ban the sale of Texas land to citizens, governments, and entities from China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia.

How To Make SURE Your Vote Counts!

The old saying “trust but verify” is great advice when it comes to casting your ballot because SO many things CAN go wrong, and voters need to know what to do in case one of those things happens to them.  Below are a few of the most common issues.  If you have an issue that is not discussed here, ask the presiding election judge for a solution or in the absence of a solution, have the judge call the county elections office for a ruling (972-547-1900).  As a last resort, call Maggie Whitt (214-532-9345), Ann Mellon Campbell (214-208-0296), or Liz Beisel (214-789-8462), your Collin County poll watcher trainers.

  1.  Candidates missing from the ballot.  It’s possible your ballot was coded for the wrong precinct.  Exchange your ballot with the judge for a corrected one and watch to make sure the old ballot is “spoiled.”  You can print out a sample ballot from the county elections website and bring it with you for as a reminder of who to vote for and as proof of who should be on your ballot for your precinct.  You may also take a list of candidates or a printed sheet with recommendations into the polls.  Record the number of your ballot on  one of these or on a piece of paper in case of a recount or a machine problem that instigates an investigation—that’s the only way you can track YOUR ballot later.
  2. You are told you have already voted when you have not.  It’s possible a clerk pulled the wrong label (similar name or a typo) and the “wrong” voter did not catch it when signing his/her name at check in.  Find out the date, time and location where you supposedly voted so you can file a report with the elections department.  Then ask to vote a “provisional ballot” (they have to let you do this) and request that there be an investigation to check for errors or a forged signature.  Follow up with the elections department to make sure the error was fixed and your provisional ballot was counted.
  3. Your machine records a mistake (1. ALWAYS check the “ballot preview” to make sure it shows all the people you intended to vote for and make corrections if necessary.  Recheck the preview after you’ve made any changes.  2.  ALWAYS check the printed paper ballot to make sure it shows the same people you marked on the machine.  If it is incorrect, request a new ballot from the judge and watch to see that the old one is spoiled so it cannot be “voted” later.  3.  Report the specific machine to the judge and request that it be taken out of service until a tech can make sure it isn’t continuing to make errors on other people’s ballots.  4.  Make sure all the bar codes are completely filled in (no streaks, blank spots, etc.)
  4. If you notice anything odd, unusual, or misleading (something you don’t understand), ask the presiding judge for an explanation.  If the presiding judge has no answer, request that he/she call the elections department for an explanation.
  5. Do NOT leave the poll with your paper ballot.  It is NOT a souvenir!  It must be fed into the big machine at the door when you leave or it will not be counted.
  6. The vast majority of issues occur with mail-in ballots.  If ballots arrive AFTER election day, they will NOT be counted.  If you overlook or forget to fill in a piece of required information, your ballot will be disqualified (this happens frequently!). You “may” be given a chance to “cure” your ballot (depending on the issue) by providing the missing information in person by a strict deadline.  Most defective ballots are never cured because voters don’t show up to cure them!
  7. MAIL-IN ballots.  If you don’t trust the post office, there is a way for you to check to make sure your ballot was received.  Go to the county elections website:  www.collincountytx.gov/elections and click on Absentee & By-Mail Voting.  There you will find instructions and a link to track your ballot.  Voted ballots received by 7 p.m. on Election Day will be counted.  If yours does not show up by that morning, it is safest to go vote a provisional ballot IN PERSON as a backup. The provisional ballot will be counted if your mail-in ballot is not received in time.
  8. My Voter Portal, a link on the 1st page of the county elections website, allows you to check or update your registration status, get polling locations, dates, & more.

THE MOST SECURE WAY TO VOTE IS IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY.  It is difficult or impossible for bad actors to overcome a tsunami of voters at the last minute.   The longer your “vote” sits in an unsecured location, the better the chance that “someone” has figured out a way to manipulate it in “some” way.  Why take a chance?

Turn out for major elections (presidential years) rarely exceeds 60% of registered voters and turn out for mid-terms is generally less than 50%.  By failing to vote, you are handing a “win” to whichever side/candidate turns out the most voters (dead or alive!).

Vote for EVERY race down the ballot all the way to the bottom!  GOOD JUDGES have lost their races because people didn’t vote all the way down (hence, citizens get bad policies like defund the police, criminals released without bail, criminals not prosecuted, etc.).  You would be surprised how many elections have been won by less than 20 votes!

ANY REPUBLICAN is going to be “more constitutional” than his/her Democrat peer (even the “rinos”!).  According to 3 recent JBS Scorecards that tally constitutionally correct votes on a select number of significant issues, the following averages prove this.  Republican scores are in red, Democrat scores in blue.  We still have much room for improvement, BUT Republicans score FAR above the Democrats.  The voters let their voices be heard in the primary; now it’s time to vote ALL the way down the ballot for EVERY Republican (even the ones who are unopposed or those you don’t know or dislike) because that person will be better than the Democrat.

See you at the polls!

Video:   https://selectioncode.com  Was 2020 stolen? It’s deeper than that.  You’ve heard it said “Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.”  What about those who code the vote?  What if our leaders aren’t actually being elected by us, but instead… are selected?

[S]ELECTION CODE follows the story of Tina Peters, the County Clerk in Mesa, Colorado, who made a backup of her county’s Dominion Voting System server, only to stumble across evidence of manipulation in a recent local city council election…. and also in the 2020 general election. Tina’s discovery ignites a chain reaction upending her life. And upending the world.  In Collin County, Dominion machines are illegal.  We use ES&S machines.  But ???
